La Banette is a delectable pâtisserie and boulangerie at 18 Glebe Point Road. It's decorated in rustic French farmhouse style with wooden tables and stools where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and something powerfully sweet from a range that includes caramel éclairs, green tea and white chocolate tarts, apricot pastries and milles feuilles. I came away with a miniaturised lemon meringue pie which collapsed on the way home but was delightfully crumbly and gooey with a satisfying lemony tartness.
