Reverse Garbage

Reverse Garbage, 8/142 Addison Road, Marrickville, is a "re-use centre", a large warehouse guarded by a tank made out of filing cabinets and packed with a vast panoply of discarded objects of all kinds: a satellite distress beacon (which sadly would not fit in the basket of my bicycle), old pianola rolls and a cardboard cutout of Miley Cyrus which someone snapped up moments after I photographed it (history does not relate what became of Kermit), a feminist robot, and stacks of large tins ominously labelled with a skull and crossbones and "Made in China".
